This is a reverse ricochet accent i made from scratch. I took the classic “h-b cartoon ricco” and modified it to make it look like an approaching bullet is coming to shoot a glass object or hit a hard surface. You can use this sound however you want. Just give me credit!.

It's a recording i have made accidentally during a rock band's rehearsal. The zoom h2 was used as a microphone for vocalist. I have accidentally caused some feedback squealing. When i managed to get rid of it i said "pardon". This sound made me laugh. Recorded with a zoom h2 plugged into a guitar amplifier. Normalized and converted to flac using audacity. Enjoy.

These small sound clips i made while accompanying friends to make hands-free climbing on a small creek near toconao south of san pedro de atacama. They like to play drums to quench anxiety. Was in october 2012.

I use a screenreader, nvda. I decided to set it to the eti eloquence speech synthesizer and put the voice on the french voice. I then set the inflection to 50 and typed the letters "r" and "h" over and over to make it sound funny when it tries to read it. The first part is the normal voice, the second part i applied ring modulation with lots of lfo effect.

These are not squeaks of pain! no rats were harmed! if you own rats, you know that they are very greedy when it comes to food, and will actually yell at you if you try to take it. Here are my two rats, rem and ezio, eating some bread, and me chasing them around with my hand to get them to squeak. They were not happy with me. So these squeaks basically mean, "no! my food! get away!" it's kinda cute. Sorry it's horrible quality, little rat voices are very soft. The squeaks that sound like painful squeaks are rem, and the more whiny ones are ezio. It's funny how they have distinct voices just like humans. Eeeeeeeeyup. Annoyed rats.

Just me stretching, rubbing and 'twanging' a rubber exercise band. Apologies for the knocking in the first 20 seconds, my upstairs neighbour started moving some furniture. I made this recording for a very specific purpose but i suppose it could be used in an animation or computer game but also for something bondage or kink related?. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). There is no processing to this recording other than to ‘normalize’ the levels. I do not require any credit or attribution. Okay, about this small bibliothek there is a story to tell. Maybe a year ago my mother phoned me and asked if i could give her a hand because the door to her kitchen was squeaking. After work i went to her, went down to the cellar, took the can with the lubricating grease, went upstairs and made my mother happy. Then i putted the grease back and went upstairs. Whe sat down, drank a cup of coffee. Then i had to go to the toilet andnoticed that the toilet door was squeaking too. So i went down to the cellar again and took once again the grease. Now i thought, before i make the stairs again, i'll show if any other thing in my mothers house is squeaking. It was terrible! i swear, never in my entire life i've been in a house where so many different things were squeaking so impassionated. First off all i went back to my car and took my cheap dictaphone i use for work. And before i putted grease on those squeaking things i recorded them. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. So this are really historic sounds! none of them exist anymore in the real world!. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. But. . . When i heard through them later i was disappointed of the bad sound quality, cutting out higher ond lower frenquencies of the rich spectrum of those "neeeeiiiks" and "uiihggs". During winter holidays i processed them first with the audacity noise reduction - then with other tools. The result gives an unreal impression of the original sounding, they have now some "synthetic" touch - but makes them probably usable for funny films or comic-likeeffects. All the sounds in my "big squeek pack" where recorded in one afternoon and all in my mothers house. "tension-sounds" for example are nothing else than a junker (tin can? - sorry, my english) moved from one side of a wooden shelf to another, meanwhile my dictoaphone was laying in the junker. Quite simply a recording of me screaming in a humorous way (if you're looking for a scream sound effect for a project with a serious tone, i doubt this one will be suitable). Even though i'm a woman, i have a feeling this sound could be used for a male character too, probably one with a voice that's not too deep. I recorded this by mistake when i was just 14! me and my sister had just been recording something on my mp3 player, then when we'd finished, i accidentally pressed record again. I don't know why, but i responded by doing a silly scream before pressing the button to stop recording! weird reaction, i know. I was probably just trying to make her laugh. I kept the very short recording ever since and in more recent years, i showed it to a friend who found it absolutely hilarious! i realised this was a such a gem of a scream that i simply had to upload it as my first ever contribution to this wonderful site i've been using for years!. I've edited out one second of silence that preceded the scream in the original version of the file. I took the raw recording and used goldwave's mechanize effect to translate my voice to a center frequency of 14khz. I then demodulated it first at 10. 6 and then 10. 2khz meaning that what comes out is essentially the opposite sideband, offset by 3. 4 and 3. 8khz respectively. 3khz just didn't sound as good. The first i filtered with a low pass of 2. 9khz, the second was filtered to below 3. 4khz to emulate a communications receiver passband. I am speaking upside down as described in this video. Moomins or clangers type alien spooky squeaky funny voice - played on keyboard reason nnxt sampler.

In front of my desk in my room is a wood paneled wall with a cubbie. It's about a foot wide, 10 inches from top to bottom and maybe 7 inches deep. I'm just guessing. Around this cubbie is a border of wood. In the bottom right corner under the border i have jammed one end of an elastic string that used to have glitter on it. It's from a christmas box of chocolates my uncle sent me last year. I stand in front of this cubbie whose bottom is at chin height, (i'm only 5ft1in) so my arms are above my head as i pull this string across the cubbie up and to the left to the border on the top which acts as my only fret. The string is a few inches longer than the cubbie is wide, but when i pull it it gets longer so my hand is 3/4 along it's length as i pull back and forth across the border to tighten and loosen the string. No matter how hard i pull it never pops loose from it's mooring. This time the mic is sitting in the cubby so i get a much clearer and louder sound. When i stretch the string across the top it has a fairly long sustain, so i can play 4 notes on a single pluck.
